Sarah and Damien made their big day at
Barnsley House one to remember! Our international couple (Sarah is from
Australia and Damien from Ireland) made sure their wedding mixed the best parts
of their heritage in the most amazing ways!
Flags from each country adorned the entrance gates to the hotel, so there was no mistaking where the wedding was taking place, and once inside the nods to their countries and personalities continued. Sarah being one of the most organised people we have ever met (!), made sure the day was filled with the most beautiful touches. The sun came out for their ceremony held by celebrant Sarah, from Cotswold Ceremonies, and guests were treated to not only a beautiful order of service, some popcorn to nibble on, a little confetti to throw, but also… Auntie Moira’s infamous baby Guinness!
Our Guinness loving groom, not wanting
to miss out, made sure he had the best drink in the house!
Best friends Blizzard & Groot,
spent the whole day spoilt rotten, and who could resist when dressed so
impeccability!
Sarah & Damien really wanted to
make sure the guests explored our gardens through their wedding, making use of
each area to its full potential. The clear ceiling marquee really made guests
feel like they were dining within the garden and with the stunning floral
arrangements it couldn’t have felt any more magical.
Once dinner was finished we had the
pleasure of holding an outdoor Ceilidh, this got the guests in the best mood possible
to carry on the evening festivities till the early hours! The secret Guinness
horsebox bar helped a little too…but the showstopper was the cake!
Sarah
& Damien, it was the best day and we hoped you loved it as much as we did!
